The cottage was beautifully decorated with a charming touch of history. The old-fashioned furniture and vintage decorations brought back memories of a time long gone. It felt like stepping into a storybook. The general areas were cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the quiet surroundings. As a senior woman, I found the cottage to be very accessible. The layout was well designed, with wide doorways and handrails in the necessary places. It made moving around much easier and safer for me.
I would have appreciated a more diverse range of activities specifically catered towards senior people. While the children working there were kind and helpful, it would have been great to have activities or entertainment that were more suitable for someone of my age.

We stayed at Cobbler's Cottage for a week and didn't want to leave. A very traditional Irish cottage with modern amenities. Rural views, lovely garden and barbecue area, and important to us, dog-friendly. Ambient lighting, wood/turf burner, and a comfy bed. The wet room was great with a readily hot power shower. The cottage has an old-worldly feel but just enough modern touches like WiFi and central heating so you don't think you have completely stepped back in time. It was exceptionally clean, so important now more than ever, and Margaret's welcome basket of goodies including freshly baked bread, butter, and jam were a lovely touch. Close enough to Omagh and Cookstown to do some shopping and an excellent base to explore Northern Ireland.

This countryside cottage was quiet and cozy, providing a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was situated off the main road, ensuring there was no traffic noise to disturb our stay. the cottage's location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying the beautiful Northern Irish scenery.
Although the cottage had a rustic charm, we found it to be lacking in certain modern amenities. the limited facilities made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay, and we wished for more conveniences to be available.

The history and quirkiness of the old cottage alongside the serene setting were truly enjoyable. It was a pleasant surprise to find a welcoming hamper with personal touches. the attention to detail in the cottage was lovely, making us feel at home. Added bonus was the cozy stove which added to the charm.
The living area was a bit cramped, especially if there were more than two people staying. It would have been more comfortable with a larger space.
